Pirated products found at cube shops

February 05, 2010 By: blogmacau.info Category: Economy and Business, Society

The Customs found fake leather products sold at cube shops for the first time.

These pirated products were known to be sold directly by the owners of a shop, located at Avenida do Ouvidor Arriaga, and three aged between 25 and 30 were arrested in connection with the sale.

Cube shops are venues where a number of cupboards divided into small cubes are installed, so that each cube can be leased to interested firms and business to sell or advertise their products.

The idea was first invented in Taiwan, and was later spread to Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China.

These shops are known to be a shortcut for young people to start business, because of low risk.
