Flash: Power cut in various neighbourhoods

A transformer fault at Carlos d’Assumpção Park substation has caused power cut in a number of neighbourhoods in Macau in the morning, with NAPE the most seriously affected.

Very short or short power cuts were also reported at Rua Francisco Xavier Pereira, Fai Chi Kei and some buildings in ZAPE.

A total of about 8,000 households and offices were affected by the power cut, and five reports of lift trap were also received.

Power supply has reportedly been resumed.
